I've belonged to 3 or 4 clubs now and it helps a lot. I advise anyone who detects to do it. You can talk to like minded men and share some finds, fun, and stories. Some people end up going out together and others just find good spots. It is much more fun with a friend. Not too many fish stories though as most people do make good finds if they put some time in.

Now I am going to join VHPS Virginia Historical Preservation Society. They coin, relic, and gold hunt. They are interested in history too, especially Loudoun, Fauquier, and Fairfax Co.

There is a link below if your interested. We meet 2nd tuesday evening 7:30 pm every month at Sterling Annex near 28 and W. Church Road in Sterling.
