Midstate 13th Annual Open Hunt July 25& 26 2009

The MidState Metal Detector Club welcomes you to their 13th Annual Open Hunt and State Championship. We pride ourselves in providing an affordable, fun event for the entire family. Early entries enable better hunt planning.
Hunts will be held rain or shine.
100% of entry fees and donations are planted in the form of coins or tokens over the 2 days of the hunt.
• Wisconsin State Championship – 2 day Competition Hunt
• Raffles held throughout the weekend
• Treasures of Yesteryear Museum & Antique Detectors on display in club trailer
• Merchandise Drawing – Donated merchandise and prizes
• Metal Detecting Dealers, Miscellaneous Businesses and clubs will have booths on site

6:00 to 7:00 Welcome and Registration
Dark Free Night Hunt (All coins/prizes are donated)
Saturday:
8:00 to 9:00 Registrations – Please Register Early
9:30 to 10:00 Freedom Hunt (Silver)
10:30 to 11:00 Wayne Otto’s Dollar Digging Hunt
(Dollars and Silver dollars)
11:20 to 12:00 Wisconsin State Championship Competition
12:00 to 2:00 Lunch (Food will be available for purchase)
2:00 to 2:30 Liberty Hunt (Detector, Silver)
3:00 to 3:30 Kids Hunt – Ages 7-12 – Detector Needed
Ages 6 and Under – No Detector Needed
4:00 to 4:30 Memorial Hunt-(Terry Behn- Ed Bornemann)
Pre Registration only by July 1, 2009) $20.00 extra Fee – US and Foreign Silver
4:30 to ??? Detector Throw Contest, Merchandise Drawing
Sunday:
8:00 to 8:45 Registration for 1 Day Hunters
9:00 to 9:30 Finals for the Wisconsin State Competition Hunt
10:00 to 10:30 The Big Dig (Detector, Silver, and Prizes)
10:40 to 10:45 Competition Hunt runoff (in case of ties)
11:00 to 11:20 Awards, Announcements, and Farewells
11:30 to 12:00 Tesoro’s Key Hunt (Detector and Silver)
12:30 to 1:00 Vintage Hunt (oldies and goodies)

Directions:
This year’s hunt will again be held at the Rivers Edge Campground, 7 miles north of Stevens Point, WI on US 51/I-39. From US51/I-39 Northbound, take Exit Casmir Road and follow the Hunt Signs.
From US51/I-39 Southbound, take Exit County Highway DB and follow the Hunt Signs.

Be a responsible hunter and fill in your holes. Only probes and diggers of no more than 2 inches in width will be allowed in any hunt, (No rakes allowed). If these conditions are not met, you may be asked to leave the hunt field. All coins and tokens are buried shallow as possible.
