a day late.........
......and lots of dollars short.....story of my life
....anyway on the way home yesterday ....had to take a detour as i had to stop at a stove place to see about a fireplace insert and passed a bank i hadnt been to....i go inside and ask the teller if she has any half dollars and she says..."yes we have lots ....do you want big dollars too? 
we got lots of them?" 
i said "sure i'll take all you got"....she calls downstairs to the vault keeper 
and comes back and says..."sorry they gave them away this morning...they only have $67.50 in halfs left" 
..."i'll take them"....got 3-40%ers....1-1967 and 2-1968d's....not bad but what was in those large dollars and the rest of the halfs?...oh well sometimes your the bug and sometimes your the windshield.....HH
