My outa the way branch sold me two boxes of dimes. I asked to make sure first that they weren't plastic-wrapped Brinks dimes. No, my teller assured me. Yes, they were Brinks dimes. My heart sunk as I reluctantly took those 2 boxes. I don't understand why they are always shy of silver. I only opened 6 rolls as "silver" canadian edges abound. I can tell by now canadian from U.S. Well, suprise, a slim, forlorn '17 Merc slipped thru Brinks clutches.
Out of $700 in hand rolls I also scored 7 silvers. 5 Rosies, a 50% '68 Canadian, and a nice '39 Canadian.
$110 in rolled halves netted me 1 1967.
Happy Thanksgivin all, AMC
