I just started crhing on a small basis. Yesterday I got two rolls of nickels and two rolls of pennies (yeah, I know, not much) and out of the pennie rolls came a 53d wheatie. One in each roll. They were not in hand rolled wrappers. I just thought that was kinda cool. I also got a 47, 53, and 55 nickel out of the others.

We all have tasted the thrill of the hunt. You will start looking in the seat cushions, car ash trays, on the ground etc. Congrats on your recent success. Jim

No find however small is insignificant especially if it gives you a thrill. Keep it up and you will find more of the good stuff. Welcome to the hobbie.

That '55 nickels is a really good find, one of the harder Jeffs to pull out of circ. Are you sure it wasn't a 55D?
