I cracked open a box of pennies while watching the Thanksgiving night FB game.
A bright silver disc rolled out about halfway through.
It's the third time this year that foreign silver has shown up in the pennies.

1937 Mexican 20 Centavos. .720 silver content and identical in size to a penny.

Very pretty coin!

Like I always say... you can't go wrong with silver popping out of the only rolls that aren't supposed to be able to prodice silver!

Grats!

Nicely done Tim !

You are developing a knack for odd finds in rolls............and silver too.

Mucho kudos.

Not to outdo, but rather share, in a Fed box of halves yesterday, included with (American) keepers were a French five franc coin (1917) (it looks just like the one in the link, is at least partially aluminum and dated 1917)

and a Portuguese twenty reis coin (1883)
