Re: 1970's

i guess i've been lucky. i found two 70-S's and seven 70-D's so far. a few are in pretty good shape. these are exciting to find when you consider how low the mintages are! even found one in a casino slot machine. what are the odds of that??? the rest came from fed boxes.

the bottom row left to right....70-D, 70-S, 70-S. the top row is all D mm.

good luck guys. keep up the search!

p.s. i've been searching hard since late jan. '08 but i've slacked off in the last few months.

well rita...you lookin' pretty good by the way...look at this time as "the calm before the storm". after the first of the year hit it hard. there's still silver out there but with everybody and his brother pickin' bling from the system we gotta get busy!

good luck and keep us posted.

Re: 1970's

It seems odd that they minted more proof(S ) coins than D coins, only year I see this is for 1970. But then in the fine print it says D's were only issued in mint sets. Strange, I guess I know know why I havent found any CRHing yet. Time to go check my proof sets now.
