My Very First Box of Half Dollars

Picked up a box today from the bank today which was quite heavy! Haha. Anyway I was so excited to tear through the rolls. Found 2 1967 40% halves and 2 2006D halves.
I was suprised at the number of marked coins there were in my box.
Tomorrow I have to hit up banks to find half dollar rolls!

welcolm to the hobby, i was wondering about those marked coins you came across, i get marked coins just about every week, i think the same guy is doing it. they all have a red or green mark across the face, appears to have been made with a sharpie. i don't know why anyone would take time to mark coins, as soon as i see a coin is not silver i throw it in the dump bag
