Apparently someone really did cash in their collection....at least of small stuff (a few odd bags of pennies...antoher post)

And now I am starting my first $100 bag of nickels from the same bank....about $30 or so in and I already have 73 pre-1960 nickels and war nickel.... as well as the possibility of another 2 bags from this bank....

I'll update shortly....

This is another of my road trip bags that seemed worthy of its own thread...

Just for fun I took one handful and counted it out...by pre-1960 and 1960+

Got exactly 52 of each.....50% pre-1960 in that handful....

They'll be coming....but I can give you a high level preview on the $100 bag I just finished....

10 War Nickels (oddly 5 each of 1943-P and 1944-D....hmmm....could the others be in the other bags....)

664 other pre-1960 Jeffersons.... I'll give a breakdown soon..think I am giong to see if one of the other bags is similar first...

Well..the second bag was the beginning of the hoard....a few more handfuls in and the finds dropped significantly...

The second bag was still good though..
