new year started off good for my coin roll hunting. finally found a bank that had halves $100 worth in brinks rolls, say they get that many each week so that will be my new pit stop while out running errands. picked up a box of nickels in case the halves were skunks. filled a bucnh of holes in the kennedy folder, got a few 40% and a few post 2001 halves. the nickels immediately started showing pre 1960 stuff, then hit a 1939 jefferson, then a buffalo, then ended the box off right with a couple war nickels. got around a dollars worth of pre 1960 nickels. these are my first war nickels and my first buffalo a 1936, (no he has all his legs darnit), my first box of nickels period, and my first box of coins in the new year. I'm happy as a pig in slop.
