Unbelievable! 8 Nickel Dream Rolls!

Hello, it starts with this month. Nickels were awful with only 2 war nickels and a long row of skunks. Then, I had a half day Friday and decided to road trip to two small towns. I buy $75 in nickels and $25 in pennies at each. The first set was almost certainly dumps- devoid of anything old except a wheat and an one 48 from the dump rolls, the rest spat out two non-keeper old nickels. Then I started the second town and noticed that too many of the wrappers were the same. However, I never leave anything to chance and started to work through them. Then, when I pounded one open, I heard a weird sound and looked down from the TV. Unbelievable. An entire roll of War nickels. I went through the rest of the batch and found 7 more rolls of, in mixed ratios, Pre-60 nickels, Buffaloes, old canadians, BU 60's nickels, and recent nickels. Then I look to the pennies and dreamed of more, well dream rolls. Some were solid copper, but all wheats taken, except one, and some old canadians. In light of all this, you can bet that that bank will not have a single roll of any denomination that I will not search by the end of the week. I can only hope that their are dimes, quarters, or maybe halfs from the same person. And for those who like numbers

That's great. You don't hear of many War Nickel hoards being found! Maybe one or two per year on this board. Dang '43D! You almost scored one of each.

There were three varieties of the 1947 Canadian Nickel

1947 plain
1947 Dot
1947 Maple Leaf (has a small maple leaf by the date)

I can't describe 1947 Dot.....probably need someone else's description or a web search.

Any idea which is yours?
