Friend's Change Jar Searched

Recently one of my friends told me about a large jar of change he had accumulated over a period of time and that he was going to take it to a bank with a coin counting machine and turn it in. I asked him if he had searched the coins for any odd ones that he might want to keep but he told me he didn't collect coins. But he said I would be welcome to go through it if I liked. Of course I said yes, so instead of CRH, I did some PJH (Pickle Jar Hunting). These coins were in a large old fashion pickle jar which weighed about 40 pounds. After completing my search I had pulled out 28 wheat pennies, the oldest a 1930, also included a 1954 S, and 9 pre 1960 Jefferson nickels, including a 1938. And there were no dumps involved !! Hey, I'll take'em any way I can get'em that is legal and moral. HH

Good finds with no dumps, what more could you ask for?

Oh yeah and I forgot to list the best coin found in the jar, a 1926 Buffalo. That made the hunt even more intense !! HH
