Usually don't do Pennies.......

BUT... It all started at work when I bought my lunch in the cafeteria and saw a wheat in the till...I said can I have that one and are there more in there?...Got 4 wheats..Then he says he has a can of pennies they save in the back...I need a CRH fix so I said I would that would take em He brought out a 5 lb of cheese container almost full to the top...Me,My Brother,and another friend form work sifted through it at my desk and found 40 wheats, 1923 was earliest...Also 2 clad dimes, 2 nickels,some canadian clad...and a game token..... not bad I guess since I don't usually do Pennies!!!

This past week I didn't do to much CRH'ng, just 2 boxes of dimes & 2 boxes of pennies.

penny box 1 = 10 wheats
penny box 2 = 8 wheats

dime box 1 = 2 rosies
dime box 2 = 2008d

For now im just working on my collection. Somebody offered to buy one of the small embossed bottles but I decided to keep it. If I find another one I said I would let him know.

bottle dumps are my favorite.wish i could find one here near my new home.i got started on bottles digging up curb traps and water services in the city(Phila).we would hit pockets of fill and the old bottles, marbles,shoes, you name it, would start falling out. the boss used to get pissed because we would stop work and dig the stuff out. Man i miss that

I've done REAL well on bottle dumps. Hit a few in VA on private property (With permission, of course) and some in Colorado. Got all sorts of old bottles, including medicines (Bitters, etc) and others. Over 200 bottles.

Oh, and over 70 OLD Mason Jars witht he shoulder lids from a house in Kansas.

I wish I knew how to SELL some of them. I hvae so many unique ones nd old ones, but haven't checked into how to sell yet. I'd like to though.
