Just finished my second bag this week and found a tremendous amount of clad proofs. In total there were 52 clad proofs. Only found 1 40% er, a 1968D, but at least it was not a skunk.

All the "S" mintmarks were between the years 1982 and 2005.

1982 S ( 1)
1984 S ( 1)
1994 S ( 5)
1995 S ( 5)
1996 S ( 4)
1997 S ( 4)
1998 S ( 6)
1999 S ( 2)
2000 S (10)
2001 S ( 9)
2004 S ( 4)
2005 S ( 1)

Have any of you had a similar experience lately.

Cool findings on those proofs. I've never found that many (Or close). did you keep them all?

Good job.

Wish I could find some proofs for my collection, all I find is stinking silver. (JK)

I had a box a couple months ago that I got a bunch of proofs in, I think 12 or so. That was the most I've seen though. But there's been some proofs found in bulk like that before that I've seen on here.

Yes to keeping all those proofs. I had only found one previously and that one was not in the best of shape. These were bright and shiney with a mirror like finish. It appears someone dumped them. There are probably other Brinks bags out there with the rest of the collection.

I just pulled 6 from one bank's rolls the other day. I just wish people turned in their silver collections as well. Stashes are going to be turned in though.
