This is the first time I've ever found a silver quarter. I received this one as change at the grocery store, I didn't notice what it was until I got home and emptied my pockets.

I had an interesting conversation with a guy at the coin counter last week- he owns payphones (I didn't know people still used them haha). He said he pulls all the silver dimes and quarters out and saves them. I was runnin half dollars and he asked ME where I get them all, I told him I have to buy all my coin to sort. He asked if I bought dimes and quarters too and I told him I buy dimes but not quarters as the silver ones are so rare. He said he finds a silver quarter every day.
