Ok remember saturday I posted a topic saying I struck out? Well it turns out not! Today around 4:00 a head teller called me telling me she has had half dollars sitting in the vault for years that she has been dying to get rid of. She said she would give me $500.00. Well my Dad was out so I told him to run over there and pick them up for me. Well here's my totals! 2 90%'s, 8 40%'s, 13 Proofs, and a Walking Liberty! A Walking Liberty on my first time! I got so excited!!!! I'm still excited! I'm gonna dump the rest at a bank and call tomorrow some other banks and or even that bank back and see if they have any halves! Look at my scans!

Great score....

Yor confusing proofs with NIFC's though. All proofs should have an S mint mark.

Those 2002 are P & D and are Not Intended For Circulation.

Congratulations. Welcome to the addiction.

Yes, your 2002 and newer coins are NIFC (NOt intended for Circulation). Not proof.

And you have what looks like a 2001D in there, which is a normal clad coin. YOu'll get thousands of those.

By the way, after 2 years and MANY boxes PLUS all sorts of loose coins ... I have yet to get my FIRST lady! So realize how RARE this will be. And cherish it. :-)

And may you find a lot more! ;D

Thanks! I'm using my scanner. I have realized it now actually has a use besides piling junk on it! ;D ;D Dad is in NYC today and called me to tell me he found another box! Sealed! Can't wait for tomorrow! As said above, this is more addictive than crack! ;D ;D ;D

Beats searching for years to find one in the ground. But it is true when you dig em you appreciate em more. There is nothing like you first lady. Congrats
