Well I could not let the month of March pass without a good "Treasure Hunt"

So I set out this morning determined to find some silver.

I headed out around 8am and kept driving west till the banks open at 9am

I bought searched and cashed Bought Searched and cashed.

At around 12:15 I headed home. Empty handed.

At this point I ran through 2k twice with no luck.

So I was determend to make it home by 1 to salvage my Saturday

I was passing an exit off the highway that I remembered having luck with a couple of years ago.

I made a rash decision & swerved across 3 lanes to make this exit at the last second.

Drove to the one bank where i scored a roll of halves with a barber in it. My first ever found while CRH'g.

Made it there by 12:38

The bank was empty except for the 3 tellers. So I was able to chit chat and inquire about all sorts of things regarding wether I could buy all their Halves, Dimes and Nickles and of Course Big Dollars.

So with the first teller I bought $320 in Fed rolled JFK's & $300 hand rolled Dimes.

The 2nd teller had 1 hand rolled halves and 8 loose.

The 3rd teller asked if I looked for any thing else and showed me a dollar bill from 1935, Which I bought.

She also brought me 4 JFK's and said do you collect Quarters also?

I asked why and she said she had just taken in a new Quarter that everyone has been asking for and said if I wanted it I could have it. For a Quarter.

She than says I probably shouldn't tell you this but yesterday me and another teller cracked and bagged of quarters to ship out and there were some old silver ones in it.

I said Oh No, Did you ship it out yesterday? She said no but it's already sealed.

Well I'll buy the whole bag if you'll sell it to me.

"But it's $1000"...... I said OK I'll take it.

I also bought every Dime and Nickle roll she had. another $260

Enjoy the photo's

these dimes were the rest of the take in assorted hand rolls throughout the day. The steel penny was in the change return at the dump banks coin counting machine.
