Ihad to go to the bank today and instead of using the atm i decided to go inside. after my check deposit transaction was done i asked the teller if she had any halves and she said "yes i have six dollars worth and most of them are silver". I told her i'll take them. it turned out that 9 of them were 40%er's. 1967-1969. not too bad for my first time.
