another skunk box
Well...I did get a skunk box. At the end of the day....but what about my lunch break?? Since you took the time to click on my link and are still reading this then you're in for a treat. This afternoon at lunch I picked up $120...$90 was from one bank. When the lady handed them over she said...these are pretty old, like from the 40s. I was like...yeah heard that one before. However, as I picked up the rolls I noticed one said "FRANKLIN". As I get out to my car I open the roll and taadaaa...20 Franklins. I proceeded to open the rest of the rolls w/o markings...6 rolls produced 4 40%s. Well, the only thing left to do was open the last two rolls with writing. On these wrappers the word "LIBERTY" was enscribed, and after opening both rolls I realized I had just upped my total number of WLs by 40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Take
Walking Liberties - (19X6 (unreadable, guessing 1926 though), 2x 1917, 34-S, 35-D, 36, 38, 39, 39-D, 40, 3x 41, 5x 42, 42-S, 5x 43, 43-D, 43-S, 44, 5x 44-D, 5x 45, 46, 47)
Ben Franklins - (2x 52-D, 4x 53-D, 54-D, 58-D, 2x 60-D, 2x 61-D, 62-D, 63, 6x 63-D)
Kennedys - (65, 2x 67, 69-D)
(Brain Teaser for your kids, 4th photo): Which one of the coins is not like the others?
With the title, I wouldn't have clicked on it either. Soooooooooo, without further adieu, thanks for reading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: another skunk box
It totaly blows my mind, that finds like these can still be had. Here, you'd have to buy those virgin rolls before the original transaction was made with the teller. Congrats to you! FFD

Re: another skunk box
Amazing!
Is the lady teller very young or she just don't care about coins?

Re: another skunk box
ha, I was thinking the same thing mojo! Perhaps my old avatar ran out of 'flameness.' An avatar of Freddie Mercury should do the trick!!!

Now I don't know, but I been told,
It's hard to run with the weight of gold.
Other hand, I heard it said,
It's just as hard with the weight of lead.

Re: another skunk box
mentone, good one! It's amazing I looked like that before the score but after I had increased facial hair growth and shaved resulting in a freddie mercury look.
No that is not a proof, guess again!!!!
