Question: If you were the vault manager of a bank and could order unlimited boxes and dump unlimited coins, would you do it all at that bank? Or would you get your boxes from another bank? How big of an area do you think one Brinks or Loomis covers?

These guys could cover a very large area. My local Brinks and Loomis outlets, located in Detroit, service southeastern Michigan and could stretch out as far as a 50 mile radius. All the banks in my area are tapping those 2 sources. There are 4 million people in that demographic as well as over 4000 banks.

There is a Federal reserve arm of the Chicago Branch. in the same neighborhood that I believe Loomis is contracted to handle most of the new coin coming in. Brinks mostly handles returned coin.
