Copper-nickel alloy.

Coins of the same design struck from 1912 to 1933 were 90% silver, however.

delta 4000 / ace 250 - used BH and many others too
copra nickle mix (copper & nickle ) --once it gets a bit of age on it often looks and seems to be silver but its not.

so sorry coincrazed --- its clearly marked 1960 * and is a cincuenta (50) centavo (cent) piece--- between 1952 and 1958 the silver content of these coins the 10 , 20 and 50 centavo were changed over to cupro - nickle alloy --- thus this metal blend was used and once it get a bit of age on it this metal blend "looks" just like old silver does.

being its past 1958 (being its a 1960 dated coin -- its cupro nickle)
