Today I picked up more of the same black halves as I did last week. Although not as many this time around. I was still pleased with the numbers though. I also picked up a couple of the magician coins. I give these to the tellers as a novelty. They always like them.

More for the stash!!!

The totals..........

64's - 17
65's - 6
66's - 9
67's - 34
68's - 20
69's - 9
Franklin's - 19
Walkers - 10

124 Total Silver Keepers

That is remarkable. How do you make this happen? You never stop amaizing me. Those have to be some of the ugliest halves I have ever seen though. Wow. I would actually consider melting them down or cleaning them they are so ugly. but I would take em any day of the week.

LJ, you are clearly a silver magnet!!! Good job, but those are some nasty looking halves. I would clean them up (I clean all my bullion via electrolysis) to make them look nice and shiny!

Keep it up, but save some for the rest of us!!

You sure have the touch - If you give those a little amonia bath post a before and after picture. They might clean up nice. Any key dates on the franks and walkers?

I have gotten some like that, just put them in my tumbler and they clean up fine. Not a big deal to clean them as they are junk silver anyway.

Thanks all. It's always fun. Today's pull lacked that big punch like yesterday's did.......28 total with one 64 and one Franklin.....but I'll take it....ha! I did talk to ole Fiddy Cent today. He had a big day. Maybe he will tell his story?

I tried electrolysis on one just to see how it would come out, but it didn't come out too good. I see no reason to clean them. Like I mentioned earlier.....they will melt real pretty....ha!
