half box....2-40%ers.........makes 600 for the year!
found my first 2009 half, and look at this bicentennial, does it look like the lower part of the building is a grease die? rest of the coins details are nice and sharp, just thought it was odd?

Nice job on the milestone & the dimes today G4E!!! That is a nice stash for the year so far. I like searching dimes...they are fun but since I am only hunting for the summer, I stuck to halves.

I am not sure about the bicentennial. I'll leave that to the experts. Maybe Immy or Wayne will chime in....they are pretty sharp when it comes to this subject.

Congrats and keep em coming...............

The bicentennial half has either been struck through grease or has been weakly struck, neither of which commands much of a premium.

Congratulations on your milestone though!

Kinda parallels the fact our Independence is fading away too as our Socialist nightmare (Brave New World, with Orwellian parallels too; Animal farm is coming)

i thought you found a dream box...at first.....congrats :icon_thumright:

Dont mean to boast but been doing this since March, added 17 today which brings total to just over 1500 halves; but July was my worst month, even June was terrible, but before that everything was spectacular for my first 3 months.

Your 76 does look like a greased die. I've found a couple myself.
