I got my first 2 bags on Tues/Wed and gave it a go. First bag had 3 1963D silvers and bag 2 had a 64 rosie. Judging by the silver ratio it appears that dimes may have as good a ratio of 90% per $1000 than halves. I know there are many half boxes that have large amounts, the typical box may have 1 90%. I think that 40%ers may skew the overall silver ration in favor of halves though.

Dimes take so many to make an ounce that the profit motive is NOT there with them making it not worth it- but the halves are much better producers; takes 14 Dimes to make 1 ounce & 7 %40's of which we have amassed over 2200 0f since March plus 150 or so %90's. Did do one Dime box got 1 single 64 Rosie & said nah no more of them for me.

Yes, lots of fun those dimes, I found over 125 first 3 months of this year @ a ratio of 1/$150 (boxes). No profit, large fun factor. Now I just buy coin outright, not as fun, but cheaper and less time consuming. ffd
