Just opened an account with this bank Saturday at the "Dump Branch" (Way North), and checked my local branch for halves today. I got the usual "Sure! How many you want" and I replied the usual way "All of them; loose, rolled or bagged". I was greeted by the Manager and the Vault Teller and after 2-3 minutes of "Why?", they said "OK". While they were emptying the vault, the Vault Manager said she has been collecting halves for over a year to get $500 worth, so she could send them back. She also said that if I got them ALL, she would happily throw in one she was saving (1968 40%).
$455.50 later, I was walking out with almost a complete box and at least one 40% in hand - nice to know I won't be skunked!
