Most unbelievable CRH day of my life. I went to my favorite bank after one of the tellers there said an old lady with tons of old coins had recently dropped them in the machine which the bank then rolled themselves. One of the tellers said there was a buffalo showing on one of the rolls :o I asked to buy all they had. Which was a nice $100 exactly one box worth. Ran home fast as possible to discover there were 11 rolls with buffalos showing!!!!! The finds were incredible. A total of 93 Buffalos most have dates some look uncirculated! But It didnt stop there. Also got 4 "V" Nickels!!!!! First for me!! one is an 1898! Oldest coin CRH yet! Also got 8 Nice War nickels and about 200 or so pre 60s. ;D :D :o Heres what I found :hello2:

Then I asked them if she dropped off any old wheat pennies and the teller said that he saw a couple she dropped off, "just dates like 1956 and stuff like that" I figured I'd take all them too. After all he said there were some old beat up buffalos he just tossed in the counter and I came out with massive keepers. Grabbed $100 in cents.
What a good decision I made! First I grabbed a few rolls and notice some had wheats on the end!! Some had wheats on BOTH ends!!!!! First roll had 3 wheats. WOW! If all the rolls had these numbers Id have 600 wheat pennies!! Second roll... 24 wheats... some rolls had over 30 wheat in them! Most rolls had 15-25 wheats in them. All 200 Rolls were like this except 7 rolls were skunks. And these were not all just 40s and 50s. I saw lots of 30s 20s and teens. I havent checked dates yet but I did spy a 1911 and 3 1912. Also found a 1941 clipped planchet and an uncirculated 1941! I will let you know what I got! I estimate I found over 2000 wheats today.

Dang Skunked on the quarters. They did get "most" (all) of the silver from the old ladys collection. But I can't really complain!!!! I still see wheat pennies every time i close my eyes.

Next thing you could try is to offer to buy them. Offer them, say, 4-6 times face value. You might even offer them full silver value for them on the chance of finding a key or semi-key date.

You mean that must have been some buff old lady to carry in all those coins.
