Greetings,
I am new to roll hunting. Decided to do it today because it was raining and I was way board. What do I need to look for? Other than the obvious early coins? What years to most pull from circa 1960's Here is a short list of my pull today out of about 50 dollars coins total.
1965 .25 X3
1965 .10 X1
1966 .25 X1
1966 .10 X2
1967 .25 X3
1967 .10 X1
1952 .05 X1
Are the 1966 and up a waiste of my time?

Thanks
Saber

1965 and up are mostly a waste of time, unless you find errors or rare coins. 90% Silver stopped being made in coins at the turn of 1965. Half dollars are 40% silver until the turn of 1970.

Keep @ it and HH!!

out of those the only one to keep is the 1952 nickel, any nicklel older that 1960 i would keep :) Also check the edges of the 1965s and if its silver and not clad then its extremely rare, there was only 200 made that are silver in 1965. If you want to find alot of older coins easily then get nickel rolls, they have the highest sucess rate.

That is what I was wondering. I actually set myself a 67 and bellow cut off for everything. Figured it couldnt hurt. I would just give them to my daughter, never know .....one day there maybe no metal money at all. Oh I am keeping all 1/2 dollars and older "silver" dollars.
