Really interesting numbers Gilbert. If we assume this was a collection culled from NC circulation then it's a fascinating look into nickel distribution. Notice how sparse S-mint coins are, particularly 1947 and 1952-1954. Here in the west you're likely to encounter those dates about every $20 or so. In fact, I finished a roll of 54-S over five years ago. I would've thought after 50 years of circulating, these dates would've spread pretty evenly across the nation, but they appear to still congregate in their region of origin.
