i had a major score today. i know it is not much for alot of you guys but it was for me. i get a call from a teller friend of mine at a branch of my supply bank. she is the fill in teller and she works at different bank branches. she called me and said i have something here that you might be interested in. she then tells me that a little old lady brought in 10 rolls of halves and cashed them in. she said that she opened the rolls and was getting ready to ship them to the fed and she started finding old halves. i asked her how old and she replied 1897,, and several from the 40's and 50's. i told her i wanted all 10 rolls and i ran right over to get them. turned out 4 rolls were clad but the other 6 were silver. (almost 6). here is the take with pics. oh yea this is my very first barber after almost a year hunting.
