Nice job on that 54! After a while though you will get tired of counting those 1964's, haha. I have roll after roll of those now and have just given up on saving them.

Yes...I have 25 of them now...it seems pretty pointless. I think I see your point now. I'll probably just add them to the rest of my unfinished roll and cash them in...give someone a thrill, whoever looks and sees that more than half the roll is made up of 64's...:)

Finding a nickel over 50 years old is always a treat!

For me today $30 in nickels produced one keeper- a 1948-D. It goes in my third blue folder. My first one is complete, the 2nd needs only ten more, the 3rd needs 13 more and my 4th has 22 empty holes. Only 45 nickels away from four sets, woo hoo!

I did find a 1941 and a 1946 but returned them for other "high rollers" to find.
