Dump run & mini wuhoooo.....................

Was forced to do a [Mini] dump run in order to maximize Next Tuesday's assault on Boxes, a major acquisition planned of 18 boxes0- had to run 61 miles to dump outside on my acquisition zone, so turned it into a road trip in which hit 28 Banks in total- acquired over $800 in halves & only 3 Banks produced- but boy did they produce(!)

One bank had 11 rolls 10 had ALL clad the 11th was SOLID Silver with 6 %90's

another had 9 rolls with 6 %90's and 52 %40 of which 4 were 1970's and get this 4 were PROOFS (there is also a 1976 clad proof too and 47 other PROOFS of various years 71 too 2006)

And one Bank had 12 rolls with 1 1964 and 4 %40's

Totals
7 %90's
68 %40's (2 0f these proofs are also 1968 & 69 on top of the 4 1979 Proofs)

Ounces 12.2

see what I mean a mini wuhooooooooooo..................... !

When you say "....and 52 %40 of which 4 were 1970's.... " are you saying you found four (4) 1970D halves ???

4 of the 5 are PROOFS with "S" Mints, 1 is what you said a "1970 with a "D" Mint", NOT a proof, is that a good or a BIG find ($ wise)?

Whats funny too is I got lost- ended up way off route had planned to take & found 2 of my 3 banks with Silver. This one Road Trip beat the total ounces of my last 2 TN haul of 12 Bank Boxes too by almost 4 ounces.

Re: Dump run & mini wuhoooo.....................

To attach photos:

1) Take photo
2) Download photo to computer
3) Post your story in TNet, when you want to add the photo, type

etc. Then hit the browse for photo 1, find your photo from the drop down windows, hit open, use the more attachments for photo 2, photo 3, photo 4, etc.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

Re: Dump run & mini wuhoooo.....................

This is a test to see if have figured out how to shrink Pic to fit TNet- if this Pic works it is of a Dream Box find last month of 567 %40's.

Nice haul!!!

I usually email the photos to myself. I get a meesage asking if I want the photos resized. I click yes and it emails me smaller photos. Then I just resave them to my photo album and post them.

Great trip ! Those "accidental", out of the way banks have usually done pretty good with silver for

me, but nothing like you found. I might need to get lost somewhere !

Re: Dump run & mini wuhoooo.....................

Beautiful Pics!! Thanks!

I use Microsoft Picture Manager to resize mine. I right click the .jpg file I want, scroll up to open with, choose MS Picture Manager, then go to the toolbar at the top that says "edit pictures", click that, then I choose the compress photos option from the window on the right, and usually I compress for web pages. They come out small, but clear.

Thanks again for the photos.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

Re: Dump run & mini wuhoooo.....................

Hi Obediah,

Just noticed the '70s in the second pic. Good job. I'm still waiting for my first 1970, but as my wife has an interview tomorrow that's 2.5 hours away, we're going to turn the rest of the day into a road trip. Hopefully we'll get a bunch of goodies.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck
