I'm wetting myself as i was so excited i had to write this... :hello2:

just picked up 6x $500 bags from one of my trusty banks.
after a quick glance and positive indication from a few of the bags (very shiny coins) i threw them in the back of my FJ.

the ride home jingled to the sound of silver on silver.

i'll post later.

My god.... Where do you even find bags of half dollars to buy? Damn is there a bigger haul than this?

Really? A 5 1/2 year old post? You can sometimes find banks that will sell you bags.

I'm not joking I searched half dollar bag on google and this was the first result. And I asked where can I find some because no banks around here have any bags because they don't have any machines unfortunately

If they don't have machines you're pretty much out of luck. I've heard of some coin facilities sending bags when out of boxes, but have never encountered that in my area.

Yea it sucks, I might have to try calling some casinos and asking them

This thread was before my time here so, I for one, enjoyed the bump.

That was back in the day when there were a lot more keepers around. I wasn't surprised by that one after I saw the post date. Around that time, even boxes around these parts were very consistent.

We used to throw the 40's back. I'm not talking malt liquor. :tongue3:
I'm sure I have probably thrown back a 40% or 2, because of the other 40's you talk about, but CRHing and drinking beer go so good together.
