Again, I decided to do a road trip while running errands. The first bank gave me a '68. I didn't get anything else until the last bank before my dump. This one gave me a '67 and three Franklins ('58D, '62D, '63D). These are my first Franklins in about a year. After my dump I continued to stop at some banks before picking up my weekly order from my source bank and decided not to do any searching until I got home.

Upon arriving home I found that I had $9 in hand rolled cents, a box of quarters, and $140+ in halves, and a 1969A series $10 FRN a teller had been saving for me. I started in on the halves and many of the rolls had at least three silvers, both 40% and 90%. But the last roll was SOLID SILVER. There was a '67, a '64, 12 Walkers, and 6 Franklins. This was my biggest silver score in at least two years, if not longer. I then started in on the pennies and found five wheats (better than average). And finally I got to the quarters. The box coughed up 14 Bicentennials(with that I reached my goal of 1000 Bicentennial quarters) and a '64D quarter.

All told I got five wheats, 14 Bicentennial quarters, a silver quarter, 27 40% halves, and 38 90% halves.

I guess the bicenetenials are still a good find if they are near mint condition. I still think they are one of the more beautiful modern coins.

About the $10 frn... I had a 1969 $50 FRN a while back.. I asked a dealer whether it was worth anything.. he said it was only worth $50. I then used it to buy coins in the shop.. I noticed he just folded the bill in half and put it in his pocket. He wasn't that gentle with it so I guess he was right.. that was probably 7 years ago.. dunno if it has value now.
