Sold $1000 face in 40% today (updated with pics)

and did pretty well. Got 4.71X face. I am going to take my $1000 face out, and use the profit to purchase 200 ounces of bullion silver. Basically free silver. Gotta love it.

Here is a pic of the silver. (1) 100 ounce bar, (15) 10 ounce bars and (1) 1 ounce bar. The 100 and 1 ounce bars are Engelhard, the 10 ounce are from a North Texas refinery.

Read your post- you asked the same question twice and I understand what you are trying to ask.

The answer would be $2.355 per half and $4.71 for each dollar's worth.

5k for little work really, what is not to like about that? I assume you still have a bucnh of 40% as well, so that is a great turn-around for what is almost found money!

It was sold to a local source, Dallas Gold and Silver company. They are a pretty large company.

You got a real good price on the sell. Congrats on that.

I've sold to them before, when I was in texas. They are down near 635, aren't they??

If you can buy 200 ounces of bullion silver with the proceeds that too is a pretty good price. About $18.55 per ounce. Are you buying bars? I know eagles are more than that, but some rounds are close to that, and bars are probably aout that price.
