A little luck today

I am not a big player. Mostly pennies. I bought a box of halves a while back and got nada. I always ask when I pick up a box of pennies if they have any loose half dollars, most of the time they say no. Today was different though. I got a box of pennies and just out of habit asked the teller if she had any half dollars. She said "Yes, a lady just brought a roll of them in." "I'll take it", I said very eagerly.

I could hardly wait to look through it when I got to my truck. I found 5- 40%ers with the rest being no later than 1974-D. What a rush! 5 in one roll.

Looked through the penny box when I got home. It yielded 9 wheats and two 1960-D small dates.

That's a pretty good day in my world.
