The last push to equal or beat last year's totals is in the final swing! I'll probably go a few times each week this month so stay tuned.

$130 in nickels was pretty good today:

Wartime - 1943-S (x2), 1945-S

First time I've found three or more in one day since 11/15/08. Brings my year total to 34. Six more to beat last year.

...plus 1939-S, 1951-S, Canada (1999) and Great Britain 20 pence (2008).

Looking good. I see you have the same luck with S-mints as I do, they seem to run rampant around here. I see a great heard in your future, you better hurry though, because the end is near :clock:

Yup, it's one of the pluses about West Coast living. 16 of my 34 war nickels this year have been S-mint. Amazing that I was able finish 48-S, 49-S & 51-S rolls. Would have taken me much longer back in my old home in the northeast.

I hope the herd materializes too, but I'd gladly take a couple of random stragglers.
