Since the beginning of Oct I have needed less than ten 40% halves to get $100 in face value. Over the past couple of months I have been finding one here and two there until I've reached 199. This week I picked up a box of halves from my source bank, along with $29.50 in hand wrapped cents. Well, the box was a skunk so I'm still stuck at 199! I did find a dozen wheats and a '46 Canadian penny. When I reach $100 in 40% halves I'm going to sell. Next week I'll pick up another box of halves, so wish me luck.
