Stopped at a bank today who just finished dumping all the salvation army pots for the entire town of 30,000. Got 1 dime 1 nickle and 1 cent bag. Ill up date after searching!


Just finished the bag of dimes. It held

9 rosies
1 62 canadian
1 beat up barber dime

And 2 2009 P!

In my area, there have been several occasions where someone put a gold Krugerrand into a Salvation Army pot. It has happened every year for at least 10 years.

Just happened and was in the local news here. Someone dropped in the Salvation Army Bucket an old $5.00 gold coin, and it was not the first time that it has happened.
