Started Roll Searching Today

Today I thought I would go to the bank and try to get some rolls of the new 2010 shield pennies. I ask the teller if they had any and she said no. I also asked if they had any rolls of the 2009 pennies and she said no. Thinking that I might find some in mixed rolls I got 4 mixed rolls. But then I realized I had a $20 bill in my pocket . I ask for $20 worth of penny rolls, she asked if I had anything to carry them in and I said no. She heads to the back of the bank and then hands me one of those nice 100% cotton bank bags (Joy!). She then proceeds to put the rolls into the bag and then hands it to me. I walk out happy, laughing a bit. Thinking to myself that it must look like I robbed the bank or something. I head into my parents car and my mom is laughing. We joke about it and head home .

My left thumb is a tad sore and dirty now(Even after washing it!).

No 2010 shield pennies .

I found this 1984 D cent in one of my rolls. It has a raised mark by Lincoln's head. Any info. about it would be great. Im guessing this might be an error...

Clearly a new guy! ok results. 2009 are common now and the 2010 will start to pop up in a few months. Banks hardly ever have rolls of 1 year. 1959's are fairly common. you error may be a die crack but the pic is really bad. The error (if a die crack) is worth max $2
