Today's finds.......
out of $300 in rolls, here is what I ended up with..........
1966 Kennedy
1967 Kennedy
1969 Kennedy
1969 Kennedy
1964D Washington quarter .....I very rarely buy rolled quarters because of the very low odds of finding silver
1946 Wheat penny
2002 Sacajawea (sp?)......... sandwiched in the Kennedy halves
1916 Canadian Large cent.......... sandwiched in with the Kennedy halves
Something that looks like a Canadian dime, but says 5 Francs on back

Congrats on the halves!
That large cent is worth a few dollars I think. That's certainly a great find!

Re: Today's finds.......
Nice cross section of finds Paul.
Does the 5 francs coin say -
"Belgie" or "Belgique" = Belgium
"Republique Fran?ais" = France
"Helvetia" = Switzerland
What year is it?
My $35 in nicks led to meager results -
1939 (keeper!)
1954S
1957D (2)
1958D
Unusual to find none in the 40s.
Last appearance in pocket change:
Wheat penny - 1955 (11/1/12)
Silver - 1928 dime (12/5/11)
Dollar coin - 2010-D (Pierce) (4/16/12)

Re: Today's finds.......
Sounds like you had a good, fun and interesting day of finds. Congratulations on the silver and the foreign coins! It really is amazing what you can find in rolled coins. The last two days I found a total of 4-40% silver halves. I now have a total of 200- 40% silver halves and 39-90% silver halves.

Re: Today's finds.......
Well, for the first time in awhile I searched pennies today, $20 worth, with feeble results.
1954D
1957D
1958D
Wheats are always fun to find but geez what a poor showing. I'm trying to temper my attitude about my recent sparse finds with the fact that a bonanza could be right around the corner.
