I was just wondering if casinos would be a good place to try for some rolls. The Seminole Hard Rock Casino opened up a couple of years ago and it's right down the street.I have never been in there as of yet.Do slot machines still take change or do they use tokens and take dollars only.I don't remember,it seems i've used tokens before but that was on a casino cruise ship.I think i'll check it out.Hmmm?

Man that is an incredible idea
The slots have upper 90s payout rates supposedly.. but I bet most of it is paid out in cash, example, those stupid progressive jackpots.

I'm out of luck here in CA. All the Indian Casinos don't use coins...Coins will be beat up but if your looking for silver not much of a concern.

I just returned from a week long cruise. The casino on the ship didn't have half dollar slots..but they did have lots of nickel machines. Just put a $20 bill in and then cash out...you don't even have to play. I found 87 pre 1960 nickels doing this...including a silver war nickel.

I search casinos exclusively and have incredible luck. I never owned a silver war nickel until I started searching casinos 20 years ago and now have over 300. I want to kick myself for not searching half dollar rolls until recently.

You gotta move fast because a lot of casinos are converting to coinless machines. My casino searching days are numbered? :'(

I too live in Vegas and search the casinos, but only been doing it for about a month. So far from my local casino here (which is coinless, but receives coin from customers like a coinstar,) I have 4 war nickels!

I go to the cage and buy the rolls, they look at me strange since they are coinless, but they have more money than most local banks do!

This baffles me, vegasmtl. Why do they have the rolls if all their machines are coinless. We're glad they do, but what's the point?

Sounds like a great place to hunt for silver! Most of the casinos I go to use coins. You could buy rolls of quarters and dimes, then bust them open into those casino cups, check for silver, then take them back to the cage, cash them in, and get some more.
No re-rolling, no fee's, and you can go through the whole supply while enjoying a free drink lol. The only problem I would see is the urge to gamble.
