Just curious if anybody else belonged to any. I joined late last year mainly to build relationships for when I find some key dates as an avenue to sell them. Wanna feel about 2 inches tall? Take your most awesome CRH find ever to a coin club meeting and show it off- for ME it was my seated liberty half. First thing everybody does is pull out a 10X+ loupe and get a real good look then you will hear something like "I got a pocket piece thats worth more than that". Contankerous old farts but the dues are cheap (I've more than paid them in raffle wins), and so far it hasn't affected my hunting. The real ? is if I find a key date Walker do I put it in my Dansco or sell it.
BTW I never make reference to CRH but the first meeting this old man told ME they CRHed in the 50's, when you could actually find something according to him. He said him and his friends were putting together sets of Seated and Barbers. Wish he was my grandpa haha. HH Mark

Keep all your "Key Date" walkers. They go up in value. Start a nice collection. Just yesterday, I went to a large coin show and got a great deal on a Very Fine 1938-D Walker. Finally Filled my collection. Waited a long time for just the right 1938-D.

Its been raining here for a long time, I been sellin stuff for melt to keep going. My Dansco has alot of Walkers in it all for FV, them empty spots don't bother ME a bit if someone wants to give ME $100 for a $7 chunk O silver. And that '16D Merc dime I wouldn't even hesitate, gone. Sorry just a metalman. HH Mark
