Whoa, how's this for a find...
I got blanked on $100 in halves today but Coin World's resident roll searcher Bill O'Rourke recently found an 1853 Seated Liberty quarter. Now that's a one-in-a-million find!
Last year he relocated to the Pacific Northwest (Washington, I believe) and I wonder if he has the same trouble with banks that some of us encounter. He mentions that quarters have never been fruitful for silver. Sounds like it's a universal trend.
