Had to make a trip for work today. Tried 2 banks and nothing then hit up one for $40 in halfs and $60 in dimes. Found 1 40% opened first roll of dimes and a 1960 popped out...first dime. the other $79.90 was clad.

Ate lunch and saw a bank I had not seen before so I stopped. Teller said she only had $2 in halfs which I took. Then another teller said" all we have left is rolls" I asked how much and she said $140. I said I'd take them and she got happy, asked how many and I said ALL. Those produced 2 1964 and 13 40%. One roll had a 64 and 3 40% which was a good feeling after scraping for so long.

I am happy again. Have been lucky to get 1 40% a day.

I ask for customer dime rolls too, not always. If banks don't have halves, and I want them I will ask.
