Over the last month or so I have changed up how I am searching coins. My bank here was really giving me some grief about the rolls, and after some compromise and some calls to their bosses, we agreed that they would sell me what I want, and I will stay a member. 
But, I did agree to try some bags of coin if they were low on rolls. So far the results have been pretty cool. Here they are.
Pennies. I searched 2 $50 bags, and 4 $25 bags all month. Here is what I found.

Canadian, oldest one of the few I have found 1941
and a 2cent Euro from 1999
Nickels. I searced one 100 bag and found alot of pre 61, but only one war silver, but that was fine by me.
The bags are easy to search. I just open them up and start checking. No breaking of rolls or all those pesky wraps around. One of the penny bags was really cool. I think it has been in the vault for a really long time. All of the dates were pre 1990, and some very good condition coins to replace a few in my folder.
Halves. I am still searching about a 100 at a time, but so far almost no luck. I did find a 1976 bicentennial coin with a d mint mark that appeared silver. When I took it in the shop determined by weight that it was a clad coin that someone has silver plated. Drat. I was really hoping for some weird misstrike. I like this bag searching, as it seems that the are unsearched, and are not new coins. I hate buying a box of pennies only to find out that they are all new mint rolls. I have also bought a bag of coins from a local casino that was from their coin counter. The bag them up as they are counted and then send for deposit at their vault. As this casino cashes coin for their customers, the results were pretty good, but not as much as the bank bags. I am ordering a box of halves from the bank, and hope that will go well. I may even try to see if they can order a bag for me instead. Wish me luck.
