Not what I expected because my first 2010 dime is a 2010 Canadian dime! First time that has happened.

No silver or big show but figured I'd share.

I got a 2009 10 Centavo last year. Still haven't found my first 2009 or 2010 US dime yet. :dontknow:

Probably because I only edge search :laughing7:

rakattack,
i too only edge search, but ive found a 2009 & a 2010 dime by doing so...the trick is to pull any shiny new looking rims, and 95% u will pull a 2009 or 2010 if it is in the roll/box...very rarely (i would imagine) would u miss one since they should b brand new...and if the rim isnt shiny enough for u 2 pluck just by rim searching, then chances r that it is in such bad shape that it would b worth keeping. hope this help.

I have found hundreds (literally) of 2009 dimes. I only edge search too. If it is shiny and new looking I look at the date however. Most of the time those are 2008. When I get rolls with 2009 mixed in it's usually 5-10 per roll. I have also gotten 10 or so complete rolls of 2009 dimes.

Got my first 2010 dime yesterday in change from Subway. Looked a bit circulated but nothign beats a $5 footlong and a nice shiney 2010 dime. Well other than a silver dime....
