Today's 8 Boxes 6/23/10

Cut down on my boxes this week and only did 8 today. Two were skunks
Got an unusual coin, a damaged proof 1945 Jersey(Channel Islands) 12 1/2 shilling coin. Interesting looking and unusual coin. Don't know what it is worth but I assume it is worth more than a 40% Half.
Anyway the boxes were not great, but June has been my best month this year,so I am satisfied.
Here is the take
1x 1964 Kennedy
23x 40% Kennedy
What no Bens, or WLH? :icon_scratch: Ooops forgot :dontknow: I'll have to make up for this on Friday :icon_sunny:

You sure it was a 12 1/2 Shilling coin and not a 1/12 shilling?

http://worldcoingallery.com/countries/coine.php?image=img2/98-19&desc=Jersey%20km19%201/12%20Shilling%20(1945)%20Liberation&query=Jersey%20km%2019

If it is the 1/12, it appears it isn't even silver and probably doesn't have much value. At least according to the worldcoingallery.com. Still a neat coin though.

Yes it is a 1/12 shilling and it appears to be copper. Same if not better shape as the one in the photo.

23 silvers. Good hunting! I am surprised no Bens or Walkers--this must be a first. Yep, they will come in "loads" on Friday.

Triple Happy Hunting,

Re: Today's 8 Boxes 6/23/10

That's about right by my recent success rate. I have cut out 4 boxes due to the lowere success rate as of late and not to mention Dumping skunk after skunk. For now I roll with 10 boxes a week, a little more manageable.

Congrats on a solid roll of keepers for your efforts.

Mojo
