I got excited today. A bank near me had $1 in halves! So I went, and, ahaha, I got a 1954 frankie! That ended my $1000 plus drought. Curiously, this is also the same bank I got another frankie and a 90% ken from, as well as 4 40%s. Someone is bringing them in as change. Gotta be. Luck to ya all!

Nice catch! Hard to believe that teller looked at the Franklin and didn't think "Hmm, maybe that's worth saving." Come to think of it, it's a good thing most tellers don't think that!

Congratulations on the Franklin,SWEET! I know it's strange that tellers just say here you go and they hand you an obviously old coin and think nothing of it. LOL Blows my mind, but makes me happy that they don't have an interest in them. Keep up the good work AF, bring home some Walkers next.

Amazing! I spotted a silver quarter in a tellers tray at my bank....Told her I had laundry to do and would take all she had in her tray. Thought it might look too suspicious to ask for a one particular quarter. She counted them out to me and put the silver to the side. I said to her, "so you saw that." She said she had been saving it for a couple of weeks but she gave it to me!
