As you may recall I scored 20 (yes twenty) solid silver rolls of dimes a few Fridays ago. Shortly after this the Tnet site crashed.

So here is the update:
I went back to that bank the next day with my kids and inquired about more rolls. I even brought one of the rolls from the previous day. They had not quarters nickels or cents but they did had a few dime rolls.

The result: 5 1/2 more silver dimes. Two of the rolls even had "silver Roosevelts" printed on them. The twenty-something year-old teller had no idea or just didn't care. Any how, I managed to get another 42 mercury dimes in that group.

Halves have been hard for me lately but at least I got my silver!

Good luck everyone,

OWS

Don't know about ounces, but here in the midwest they are paying 17.5 to 1 for 90% coins.

That is about $87.00 per roll of dimes.

Sounds like a great day at the bank to me!!!!!!!!!

That is such an amazing score, I'm still in awe... You have successfully made nearly every CRHer here jealous :laughing9:

Hard to believe that person only dropped off dimes. With so many silver dimes, you'd expect some quarters and nickels to be in the mix too. I'd be checking that bank frequently just in case a few more show up
