Well, I've been reading all your posts for a month or so, and decided to go through my coin jar to see what I could find. Not a lot there, a couple of Canadian quarters (When did theirs stop being silver?), a 1917 D penny, and 1946 nickle. There were a few other coins, but not silver. I hope to get some rolls soon & see what I can find.

Welcome, welcome bobr! We look forward to your stories and finds. A 1917-D Lincoln is a pretty good start. BTW, Canadian quarters stopped containing silver in 1969 when they went 100% nickel. About half the 1968's are a silver/copper mix, and half are 100% nickel.
